Special Group Ministries

Lois Circle is a gathering of the women of the church. They meet monthly September through May, using the Presbyterian Women\'s Horizon magazine as a study guide. This circle supports the mission the Presbyterian Church.

Wednesday Gathering meets twice a months for quilting and sewing. Items are made for the church, for new members, for babies and to provide comfort to needing children in emergencies.

Spirits Willing is a group for adults 55 and over who meet monthly for an informal time of food and fellowship.

Deacons Ministry of Care The Deacons of our church provide care and support to families in the church and community. We resource those who are ill, dealing with a death or going through difficult life transitions. The Prayer Chain offers an opportunity for members to pray for others who are in need and to connect the church family with the spiritual resources needed in times of crisis.

The Deacons offer monthly news about ways members can deal with health issues, as well as supplying resources for members on various health topics. We are in the process of beginning a Parish Nurse program that will help coordinate health and support issues. The Deacons also sponsor an annual Care Fare, at which time agencies and retirement centers bring information to assist our members.
