Serving our Mission through: Worship, Youth and Families, Outreach, and Leadership Development
Our worship would represent a Blended/Traditional style. We celebrate our Reformed Heritage, with emphasis on the reading of the Word and Preaching.
However, we also seek to use contemporary mediums with instrumental groups, drama and dramatic readings, along with the use of some other art forms, including dance, fabric arts, banners and special uses of music. We use all genre of music, and include various instruments and music groups. Children play an important part in our worship, with a special time included for them.
Lay leadership is also valued as they serve as liturgists, ushers, greeters, and servers for communion. During special seasons, such as Lent, Easter, Advent, Christmas, and Pentecost, we make a special effort to provide unique and inspiring worship events for the congregation.
We have a choir, which sings for the worship services each week. It is made up of volunteers (men, women, and youth) who like to sing and bring joyful music to our church. The choir uses contemporary and traditional anthems, with occasional additional instruments. We are always looking for opportunities to expand our music offerings.
